A look at the equipment Jin Young Ko used to win the 2019 Bank of Hope Founders Cup.
The 2018 Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year played the weekend bogey-free and recorded 15 birdies to finish at 22-under par at Wildfire Golf Club. She defeated Jessica Korda, Nelly Korda, Carlota Ciganda and Yu Liu by one stroke to hoist the trophy.
The win was Ko’s third career LPGA victory and second since becoming an LPGA Member in 2018. She is a 10-time winner on the KLPGA, but Sunday’s victory was her first in the United States.
The 23-year old said she tended to overthink on the golf course last year and lost a little of her confidence, but with the support of her friends, family, and caddie she's playing well this season. In four starts she has earned a win, two top-3 results and a tied for 29th finish.
"So I got lots of confidence for this year. Really good for third win in the States, so I'm really happy."
